PLEASE NOTE: In order to change your login type/authentication method for your FollowMyHealth account, you will need to access your account from a PC/Laptop Computer. The FMH Mobile App does not have this capability. If you are using a FHIR application (MyLinks, Medlio, etc.) as a way to access your records, it is recommended that you establish an FMH Username/Password in order to retrieve that information successfully.
If you would like to have alternative ways to log in to your FollowMyHealth® Universal Health Record (UHR) or you would like to change the way that you currently log in, you have the ability to add and remove authentication methods.
To add a new authentication method (FMH Secure, Facebook, Google, Yahoo, or LiveId) to your existing FollowMyHealth UHR, click on “My Account” in the top right corner once you are logged in. From this drop-down list, select “Preferences” .
Under the section titled “Sign In Preferences”, click the “Add” button next to your other desired login(s), and a login window should appear for you to sign in. Only one username/password of each type is allowed.
Please note that if you are trying to add or switch to a FMH Secure login, you will first need to create one if you have not already. You will be given the opportunity to create a FMH Secure login from the "Preferences" button (shown above) by selecting "Add" and clicking on the "Register for a FMH Secure login" link below the login button (see image below).
You can also delete an authentication method from the "Sign In Preferences" page by selecting “Remove” next to the authentication method you no longer want associated with FollowMyHealth. Please note that you will not be able to delete or remove the login method if it is the only one associated with your UHR.
NOTE: You may need to enable popups in order to add a different authentication.
