If you need to give your medical records to another doctor, it is recommended that you do not print your records from your FollowMyHealth® Universal Health Record.
Some of your medical information may not be in your FollowMyHealth record. If you have been with the same medical organization for many years, some of your older information may not be stored in your organization's electronic records yet. Updating all of this information is an involved process that may take a while, especially for larger organizations.
Some organizations have also chosen not to have certain information flow over to the FollowMyHealth record.
When providing your records to a new doctor, we recommend you speak with your medical organization. Upon request, they can send a full, legal copy of your record to your new doctor. This is the best way to make sure all of your medical information is sent to your new doctor, so they can provide the best care possible!
