Yahoo Security Breach Information - Changing Password Advised

Last Updated: Dec 15, 2016 02:46PM CST
As you may be aware, Yahoo announced in September of 2016, that at least 500 million user accounts were compromised during a data breach that occurred in early 2014. On December 14th 2016, Yahoo again announced another breach of 1 billion accounts that occurred in August 2013. Hackers may have been able to access names, email addresses, passwords and security questions and answers.  In order to protect the data privacy and security of your information, if you use Yahoo as your established login method or use the same password as your Yahoo account, Allscripts strongly recommends changing your password.

Steps for changing your FMH password can be found HERE.

If you have any questions about the Yahoo data breach please refer to the Yahoo Security Notice December 14th, 2016 webpage. Yahoo has set up a Frequently Asked Questions section on the notice page that can be accessed by clicking HERE. The FAQ has information on how to protect your Yahoo account as well as how to change your Yahoo password or disable security question and answers.
