Requesting a Video Visit-Mobile App

Remember to be sure to check with your healthcare organization/practice to see if they offer video visits.

To request a video visit with your provider on the mobile app, follow these steps below based on your device:

1. Log into your account

2. Tap the Menu, , option and select Video Visit



3. Next, you will need to allow FollowMyHealth™ access to your camera and microphone



4. Once you have allowed access, you will then be directed to a screen which will display wait time and what hours video visits are available. Tap on the healthcare organization/practice to continue. 



5. Now, you will have the opportunity to state the reason(s) for your visit. Be sure to tap "Select Reason For Visit" to choose a reason for your visit. If you would like, you can also add any additional info for the provider and upload an image if you need to. 



6. Once all that information has been entered, be sure your phone number and pharmacy is correct on the next page. If not, you will have an opportunity to correct it. Once everything is correct, tap on "GO TO WAITING ROOM".



7. At this point, you have scheduled your visit and are awaiting your provider. You can return to your account by clicking on the arrow beside Video Visit. If you wish to come back to the waiting room, go to Home and tap on the yellow highlighted message, Video Visit - Waiting, under "Action Center".





8. Once your scheduled time arrives, you will then be placed into a video conference with your provider.

3. Next, you will need to allow FollowMyHealth access to your camera and microphone. Also, you can enable notifications for your video visit by tapping on Enable Notifications. 




4. Once you have allowed access, you will then be directed to a screen which will display wait time and what hours video visits are available. Tap on the healthcare organization/practice to continue.



5. Now, you will have the opportunity to state the reason(s) for your visit. Be sure to tap, Select a Reason for  your visit, to choose a reason for your visit. If you would like, you can also add any additional info for the provider and upload an image if you need to. 




6. Once all that information has been entered, be sure your phone number and pharmacy is correct on the next page. If not, you will have an opportunity to correct it. Once everything is correct, tap on "Go To Virtual Waiting Room".



7. At this point, you have scheduled your visit and are awaiting your provider. You can return to your account by clicking on the arrow beside "More" at the top. If you wish to come back to the waiting room, go to Home and tap on the message, Video Visit - Waiting, under "Action Center".



8. Once your scheduled time arrives, you will then be placed into a video conference with your provider.
