Only have one e-mail?

Last Updated: May 11, 2016 08:52PM CDT

When two (or more) people share one email address, issues logging in may arise. A FollowMyHealth® Universal Health Record is tied to one login (typically an email address). Two (or more) people may use the same email address for notifications, but in order to have two distinct Universal Health Records, two email addresses are recommended, but not required.

Solution 1: Create an FMH Secure Login with a unique username for each person.

Solution 2: Create a new email address. This can be done by going to any of our approved login methods and creating an account with them (Google [link will open in a new tab or window] has the easiest process).

Note: This new e-mail address can be used solely for login purposes only, if you so choose. It is easily set up to have all notifications go to one e-mail address as described here.

Alternative Solution: (NOT recommended due to potential privacy concerns):  The organization from which you are attempting to gain your medical information is able to set up an adult proxy access for the people sharing an e-mail address. You will need to contact them directly to get this set up.
