Patients are beginning to see a “Like” FollowMyHealth post appear on their Facebook timelines. This interaction option with our brand name was not created by FollowMyHealth. It is a software feature that is controlled by Facebook. The prompt is asking if it is okay for Facebook to send the authentication token to FollowMyHealth to verify the email address.

Note: Facebook or MSN may also ask to “Let this app access your info”. In no way is FollowMyHealth allowing outside applications to enter the patients’ health record. Should you choose to accept your private health information will NEVER be shared on Facebook.

There is no need to worry about the exposure of health information on the Facebook timeline. FMH is not integrated with Facebook in this manner and we will not post any health information outside of FMH.
