Requesting Connection with an Account – Mobile App

Let’s say you have an account set up; however, you are able to see any records or your providers. More than likely, the account is unconnected. The account needs to be connected so you can have access to your records. Luckily, some organizations allow for patients to request connection if they have an unconnected account. Note that if you are unable to find your medical organization, then you will need an invitation email from the provider’s office to connect. To request connection, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Log into the account. 

Step 2: Tap the Menu option and select “Healthcare Organizations”.

Step 3: At the bottom of the screen, you will see the add organization icon. Tap on that icon.

Step 4: Search for your healthcare organization either by zip code or provider. You can alter the zip code, distance in miles if needed, and choose between a clinic or hospital.

Step 5: Once you find your organization, tap on it. You will then be asked to accept a release of information. Be sure to accept it to continue.

Step 6: The organization you requested connection will show as “Pending” under “My Connections-Healthcare Organizations”. Be sure to allow some time 1-2 days for the account to be connected. If it’s not connected with a few days, give the provider’s office a call.

Step 1: Log into the account

Step 2: Tap on the “More” button at the bottom of the screen and then tap “My Connections”.

Step 3: Tap on “Healthcare Organizations”.

Step 4: Search for your healthcare organization. You can alter the zip code, distance in miles if needed, and choose between a clinic or hospital.

Step 5: Once you find your organization, tap on it. First, be sure to tap, “Yes, request connection”. You will then be asked to accept a release of information. Be sure to accept it to continue.

Step 6: The organization you requested connection will show as “Pending” under “My Connections-Healthcare Organizations”. Be sure to allow some time 1-2 days for the account to be connected. If it’s not connected with a few days, give the provider’s office a call.
